Aastha Joshi earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2008 from the SDM College of Physical Therapy in Karnataka, India where she trained in the areas of musculoskeletal, neurologic, cardiovascular and pulmonary and pediatric assessment and treatment. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology in 2010 from East Stroudsburg University where her educational training included coursework in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Pathophysiology, Medical Diagnosis and Management, Exercise Testing and Prescription, Nutrition and Public Health Administration.

Before joining the Pulmonary Wellness & Rehabilitation Center as a physical therapist and exercise physiologist in 2011, Aastha began her professional career at the Montefiore Medical Center as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist where her responsibilities included clinical exercise testing, developing individualized exercise prescriptions and supervising monitored exercise sessions.

Aastha is the Lead Clinician of the Center’s Orthopedic and Manual Therapy program.
